Oh, and a free beret that adds 1 to perception and 5 to your critical chance.Ĭoncerning factions, this build is meant to side with the NCR, as I stated earlier. Plus he has a good backstory, and that hatred for the Legion is great when you're siding against them. Not only is the Spotter perk a good perk to have, but he's a literal fucking god with his hunting rifle. Weapons: Scoped Rifle (Ideally the Anti-Material Rifle, but any scoped rifle works.), Ranger Sequoia/Hunting Revolver, Melee Weapon of your choice.Īrmor: Ranger Combat Armor/Desert Ranger Combat Armor/Regular/Advanced/Elite Riot Gear + Ranger Combat Helmet/Desert Ranger Helmet/Regular/Advanced/Elite Riot Helmet OR Ranger Patrol Armor + Ranger Hat.Īs far as your party is concerned, Boone is the choice for this build. Modded: (Use this if you have the mods that I recommended earlier) 9mm Pistol until you can get a 5.56mm Pistol/That Gun (if you're using a Varmit Rifle or something) or another pistol with low ammo weight and decent damage. 357 revolver/Lucky if you're using the Cowboy Repeater, or some pistol that has a low ammo weight but also decent damage output, i.e. If you're like me though, I'd say use a cowboy repeater.Īnother note: I prefer to keep my ammo types to a minimum (something that survival mode has made me do), so if you're like me then I'd say use a. Personally, I'm a lever action guy, but if you like using bolt action rifles instead, I'd recommend using a scoped Varmit Rifle, or the Ratslayer until you can get a Hunting Rifle with scope or a sniper rifle. As far as weapons are concerned, this build would go well with bolt action and lever action guns. Personally, as far as aesthetics are concerned, I'd recommend NCR Mantle Armor, combined with a Slave Scarf (The kind that goes over your head and wraps around the neck), combined with some biker goggles. Before this, I'd recommend using easier-to-acquire weapons and armor. The gear I'm putting down here is what I would recommend using during the last quest.
